Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

{1}  With only a few short days until Jack's first birthday party, this is going to be a BUSY week!  I have party favor boxes to make, a birthday banner to finish and a million other little odds and ends to tie up!

{2} No matter how hard we try, we cannot make boneless wings like Hooters, but I suppose we'll keep trying!  We attempted fried pickles too, but that didn't work out so well either.  Who knew that pickles disintegrate when fried!?!

{3}  I finally finished a quilt... kinda!  The only thing left to do is hand sew the binding on the back.  I think it looks pretty good!

The reds are actually the same, the lighting makes them look different.

{4}  Days 1 & 2 of Project Sippy Cup were complete failures!  Apparently Jack has no use for sippy cups or cow's milk, even though he's been drinking water from a cup for 6 months.  Now, it seems he's perfectly happy with formula in a bottle!  How did you wean your babies?

{5}  Also, he has begun picking up any cuddly object and sucking his thumb with it... he is so my child!

{6} In the midst of my busy week, I'm going to find time to update my Project 365 site!  It has been neglected since I began sewing!

{7}  Instead of going out to breakfast yesterday morning, we decided we'd make our own breakfast at home, complete with homemade biscuits, gravy, sausage, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs!   YUMMY!

Ok, maybe bisquick helped with the biscuits! HA!

{8}  Don't forget to click HERE to enter the boutique diaper clutch giveaway!

That's all folks!  Have a great week!
